Expression of Interest: Tasmanian Pilot Intermediary Scheme

The Department of Justice is establishing the Tasmanian Pilot Intermediary Scheme beginning in early 2021 and applies to victims and witnesses of sexual assault and homicide related matters.

A panel of witness Intermediaries will be established to cover the Court locations of Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie.

Tasmanian occupational therapists are invited to put in an expression of interest for sessional work and to utilise their skills in the criminal justice system as witness Intermediaries to assist police and courts to communicate with vulnerable witnesses.
