Policy and Advocacy Veterans 22 October Update

Representatives from OTA met face to face with the office of the Hon. Matt Keogh, Minister for Veterans' Affairs, in Canberra to urge Government to accept the Royal Commission’s recommendations to increase fees to attract and retain OTs under the scheme. The Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) has since reached out to organise a follow up meeting with OTA to provide further input and advice to DVA regarding the cost-of-service provision for OT services, to assist in the Government response to the Royal Commission’s Final Report.
