NT Hot Topic Wrap Up: Positive Behaviour Supports
Occupational Therapy Australia facilitated another successful Hot Topic event in the Northern Territory, Darwin on Wednesday 15th September, 2021. The topic for the event was Positive Behaviours Supports, presented by the highly experienced Cherry Reynolds of Woollybutt Specialist Services. Thank you to Charles Darwin University for hosting the event. There were over 20 Occupational Therapists and Allied Health professionals who attended.

- Exploring behaviours that challenge
- Understanding what does it look like? And why does it occur?
- An introduction to behaviour support planning
- Environmental strategies
- Response strategies
- Restrictive Practices
The event provided an opportunity to connect face-to face in Darwin with light refreshments following the presentation.
