Ms Pattison was recognised for her distinguished service to occupational therapy through national and international leadership roles, and to advances in practice standards.
“Today’s honour is only made possible by working together with so many other occupational therapists both here and overseas,” said Ms Pattison.
OTA President Professor Carol McKinstry and CEO Samantha Hunter were honoured to be guests at Government House to witness the insignia bestowed on Ms Pattison.
“On behalf of all members we congratulate Marilyn and thank her for the enormous contribution she has, and continues to make,” said Professor McKinstry.
