About the Clinical Award
Established in 1948, the OT School of Victoria was the second occupational therapy school in Australia. Following its dissolution in 1974, the directors of the School founded the Occupational Therapy Trust Fund to promote research and clinical development in occupational therapy in Victoria. The Trust generously donated $510,000 in funds to OTA in 2018-19 and this award was established, which aims to promote advancement in clinical practice by supporting members of OTA to engage in clinical-based projects and studies. The award is open to OTA members from any state or territory who have a minimum of four years of clinical experience and hold current AHPRA registration.
