EAPAA releases new Service Standards

Last year, OTA successfully lobbied the Employee Assistance Professional Association Australia (EAPAA), requesting recognition of occupational therapists for eligibility for clinical membership of the EAPAA. Experienced mental health occupational therapists are eligible to apply for full membership.

Last month, EAPAA released new service standards, which have been designed to support the delivery of a consistent and high-quality standard of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) services to workplaces.

Occupational therapists providing EAP services may wish to familiarise themselves with the new standards, which are available by clicking here.
