OTA Submission to ACT 2021-22 Budget Consultation
‘A range of services need to be better funded to support the needs of the most vulnerable in the ACT community. Occupational therapists have an important role to play in these services’
OTA made a submission to the ACT Treasury and Economic Development Directorate as part of the ACT’s annual 2021-2022 Budget consultation process. A range of key issues for both occupational therapists and clients were covered in the submission including occupational therapy workforce shortages, lengthy waitlists for services and the important role occupational therapists have in mental health, family and domestic violence, primary health and supporting children in schools.
