Testimonials from past participants

The information provided in this course has been so helpful in creating a solid foundation for effective team management and leadership that has helped me to actualise the personal and professional values and standards that underpin my business.

The face-to-face retreats allowed for deep connections with peers and a safe space to be vulnerable while transitioning from a worker to a leader.

I would recommend this course to anyone!

Even if you’re an expert OT working for yourself and not currently leading a team, the program has lots to offer you. Here are some program modules that may be of interest to you as a sole trader:

  • Defining your ‘why’
  • Addressing imposter syndrome
  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • Identifying with strengths
  • Mastering the art of courageous conversations
  • Strategic thinking
  • How to confidently work with complexity
  • How to confront bias, question assumptions and avoid generalisations
  • Putting a plan in place for your future

As most of the course content is delivered in face-to-face events, the program will also provide you with a fantastic opportunity to network with other OTs, many of whom may be in a similar position to you, as well as more established leaders of the profession – whether that’s during the workshops, drinks reception or at the dinner table.

I am unavailable to attend one of the online workshops. Will they be recorded?

Yes – the online workshops will be recorded and will be available to watch in the learning management system shortly after the workshop.

I’m already a very established leader. Is the program still relevant to me?

Absolutely. The program focuses on personal development by learning new ideas and practices and the immersive and collegial style of the content delivery is designed to bring participants out of their comfort zones and to stretch their thinking about ways to lead themselves and others.
